According to the Men’s Health guide to style:
Rule #17: Wear Flip-Flops Only at Home What makes a man a man? He is strong. He is certain. He is prepared at any moment to meet a manly challenge with courage and fortitude. When a child wanders off the curb into traffic, when a date is hassled by a street tough, when a fire breaks out and someone needs resucing, a man is there, fast and ready. He is not skipping cloppity-clop-clop down the street, squeezing his toes together so his flip-flops don’t fall off.
I couldn’t agree more.

Boots allow a man to be outdoors. Boots allow a man to do all that is required of him. Boots will not hold a man back from his duties. flip-flops are a barrier to life. I agree with you William.

Ha ha! I never knew you felt so strongly about flip-flops . . .

Um, I can’t tab through all these questions. You aren’t showing up on my reader again, I just realized that I missed months of blog posts. What gives?

I love this post. Because it is so true, and funny. Good ole Men’s Health.

When you’ve seen a 6’5″ 300-lb pure-muscled polynesian wearing sandals every day, it becomes a little bit more manly. Plus, what’s anti-man about wearing flip-flops in the winter? It’s like a daily polar bear plunge for your feet.
